Why you should take this course
The purpose of this course is to build self-confidence, provide the knowledge to enable people to think assertively, plus lots of practical tools and techniques to use back at work. The learning is intended to help people improve their productivity, build and maintain positive working relationships and increase their personal job satisfaction.
Who’s it for?
This course is aimed at people in clinical and non-clinical roles at all levels. It is suitable for team members, supervisors, managers and practice partners.
Assertiveness skills is for everyone! We will create a safe and supportive learning space for people to try out new ways of communicating.

Appreciate the difference between assertive, aggressive and passive behaviours

Recognise psychological games in self and others and learn how to end them or avoid them

Better manage their own workload by accepting and refusing tasks appropriately and renegotiate their priorities and responsibilities in a respectful professional manner
