Children's Safeguarding Training Level 3

Following demand for more F2F multi-professional safeguarding training, Sutton Training Hub is pleased to offer two half day Child Safeguarding Level 3 Updates:

Tuesday 11th June: 1-5pm

Thursday 4th July: 9am-1pm

Venue: Park Suite, The Grange, Beddington Park 

Presenters: 

Tony Bowen, Designated Safeguarding Nurse, SWL ICB

Dr Benedicta Ogeah, Consultant Community Paediatrician and Designated Safeguarding Doctor, SWL ICB

Dr Shazma Mawani: GP, Clinical Lead Sutton Training Hub and Level 3 Safeguarding Instructor

Aimed at registered health and social care professionals. The course will cover:

- New safeguarding guidance and indicators of abuse.

- ⁠Case studies of children that go missing, child neglect, domestic abuse, resistant families and disguised compliance

- ⁠Making judgements, assessing risks, information sharing and referrals
